WorkBrain OFF ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). Please also review our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Data: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique identifier for your device. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
- Onboarding Responses: Your answers to the onboarding questions (e.g., sleep habits, stress triggers) are stored to personalize your experience.
- Usage Data: We collect data about your app usage, including session completion, streak counts, and morning check-in responses (sleep latency, awakenings, fatigue level).
- Subscription Data: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect purchase-related data as described in their Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and personalize the App experience
- Track your progress and display sleep improvement statistics
- Manage your subscription status
- Send local notifications (evening reminders and morning check-in prompts) if you opt in
- Improve the App through anonymous, aggregated analytics
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). Data is associated with an anonymous user ID and is not linked to any personally identifiable information. Data is stored on servers located in the United States and is protected by Firebase's security infrastructure.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication and data storage. Firebase Privacy
- RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat Privacy
We rely on these providers to operate the App. Their availability, changes, or outages are outside our control, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not responsible for service interruptions, defects, or data loss caused by these third parties or by other factors beyond our reasonable control (including iOS or device updates). 5. Notifications
The App may request permission to send local push notifications. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent from our servers. You can manage notification settings within the App or through your device's system settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your anonymous usage data for as long as your account exists. Since accounts are anonymous, we cannot identify or delete specific user data upon request. If you uninstall the App, a new anonymous account will be created upon reinstallation.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of data collection
